The EXPO

In the program from Thursday the 24th to Saturday the 26th 2011, ForumClub-ForumPiscine satisfies the requirements to exceed the record numbers from the last edition (6,000 present at the Expo and more than 130 exhibitors).

In addition to confirmations from those who participated in 2010 there is already a recorded increase on the part of numerous foreign companies that, with their presence, will further enlarge the spectrum of products, services and novelties available to operators visiting. ForumPiscine, the only event in Italy for the pool and spa sector, will co-exist in a synergic way with ForumClub, the most important business to business event for the fitness and wellness area, giving life to a double appointment that is one of a kind: an exposition area together with an international congress. This offers the operator a complete panoramic of the latest news in the market and a formative occasion not to be missed. Characterizing the exposition area will be the variety of market categories proposed: in the ForumClub section, there will be equipment, products, professional accessories for training, information technology for managerial and technical solutions, sauna, Turkish baths and solarium, products for massage and beauty treatments, clothing and merchandising, furniture and compliments for locker rooms; and still, in the ForumPiscine area, you will find systems, innovations and technology for construction, maintenance and management of public and private pools, spas and wellness centers, furniture and accessories for water activity, covers, linings and hydro-massage tubs, products and systems for filtration, disinfecting and water treatment, systems for dosage, control and analysis and still much, much more.

The Congress

The articulated international Congress- that in 2010 registered more than 1000 present-will be geared toward entrepreneurs, managers, professionals and instructors of fitness and wellness, as well as managers, designers, technicians and builders in the water division. For the club area the participation of Carole Caplin has been confirmed, exceptional keynote speaker, she is lifestyle advisor for Tony Blair’s wife and owner of the London club Lifesmart. She will confront two topics of strong reality like medical wellness and the participation of youth in physical activity (through the teaching at schools).

Of great interest are also the sessions on the Inclusive Fitness project and the access of handicapped to practicing sports as well as a space dedicated to Pilates, a discipline that is in constant growth and will finally have an event dedicated to it. The formative offer will be completed with a congress program of ForumPiscine, that will be articulated in a Managerial Course for managers of pools open to the public (Aquatic Management Course) and a Technological Course for authorized personnel (workshop of company and associative matrix), focused, among other things, on technology, design and planning.

Assopiscine, who will sponsor the event again, will enhance the interest of the already complete congress schedule, proposing concrete and actual contents, fruit of a matured experience based on years inside the Italian industry of pools. Among the 2011 news the institution of the Italian Pool Award will take shape, prize of design and building excellence of the Italian pool. ForumPiscine and the magazine Piscine Oggi will fill a void that Italy has begun to feel, introducing an authoritative recognition for the pool structure (residential and commercial) and its many professional contexts. The Indoor Prize will be the award for internal pools, the Outdoor Prize for installations outside and the Special Prize as a tribute to innovation and sustainability. Also, during the three days in Bologna, the Club Award-Fitness, Wellness & Aquatic will be awarded to winners of the respective three categories; club of the year-innovation-special, this is actually the renewed edition of the Il Nuovo Club Prize, which began five years ago upon the initiative of the Il Nuovo Club magazine and the ForumClub itself. The recognition, which intends to appreciate the managerial excellence in the fitness and wellness sectors, is open to all owners, managers and professionals of fitness/wellness clubs, sport and aquatic centers of all types and dimensions.
